From Ferrari to Aston Martin, it seems that every upmarket automaker is getting into the SUV game lately. And while they all have their merits, very few of them can claim the legendary status and proven heritage of Mercedes’ G Wagon. The G Wagen, also known as the G Class, has been a stalwart in the Mercedes Benz lineup for decades. This 1991 Mercedes-Benz 300GD has undergone a two-year restoration after it was imported to the States from Italy. The process has not only returned this G Class to a better than original condition, but has added a bevy of new and improved components.
Having undergone a ground-up restoration, this 1991 Mercedes-Benz 300 GD has had a comprehensive makeover, giving it a new lease of life. First off, it’s been repainted in Adriatic Blue. You’ll also notice that this G Wagon sports a facelift that is in line with the 2017 AMG model year. The grille sits behind a new bull bar, and you’ll also find a front roof spoiler and high-powered LED lights. The LED theme continues for the rest of the exterior, with new LED auxiliary lights and tail lights. The exterior also includes an AMG front bumper, AMG rear bumper, new wheel flairs, and a new hood. There’s an aluminum HD roof rack, running boards, and new front and rear mudflaps. The door seals, door check links, bolts, and hardware have all been replaced, and the mirror set has also been replaced. AMG wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich All-Terrain ATR/A KM3 tires, and a spare is secured to the truck's rear. The interior is a similar story, with a renovated dashboard, seats, headliner, carpet, and door cards. A new retro radio and a rebuilt air conditioning system have been installed.
Under the hood is the tried and tested OM606 diesel engine coupled to a five-speed manual transmission and dual-range transfer case. The owner reports 470 bhp from this unit, and the engine has been upgraded with mechanical injection pumps built with 7.5 mm Dieselmeken elements. The turbo has been upgraded with a genuine Holset HE351 12cm turbo and intercooler. The radiator, airbox, and header tank have also been upgraded, as well as the air filter housing and alloy air intake pipe, which now feature polyurethane hoses. Finally, to ensure reliability, a new alternator, new water pump, new thermostat, new starter motor, and new clutch kit have all been installed. Under the chassis, you’ll find upgraded brakes, shocks, springs, and prop shafts.

A Mercedes-Benz SL is not made for the average person who only wants a means of transport. Only certain types of people fit the status of this car. A person worthy of this type of car, which is becoming a rare classic, looks forward to a sunny weekend to fold the roof down and drive through twisty roads. They enjoy the spirited rumble that comes from a powerful engine. They aren’t afraid to use the car as a daily driver as they know these machines are meant to be driven, not babied. Or even if you are someone captivated by its charming beauty, we are here to provide you with everything you need to know before purchasing it. This stunning 1999 Mercedes-Benz SL500 came to our inventory from Greenwich, Connecticut, with just 20,382 miles on its odometer. The ʼ80s was a time of extravagance, pushing the limits of automotive engineering and a big shift in customers preferences - analog was a thing of the past, the new and improved era was all about digital. There was however one machine that stood the test of time and handled the ʼ80s and its massive shift with class and elegance. The Mercedes-Benz SL R107 was nothing short of iconic, it was iconic to the point where it not just changed how open top motoring was in the ʼ70s but brought analog and old school charm into the ʼ80s as well. Present here is an automotive icon whose production ran almost two decades and takes shape with this lovely 1989 Mercedes-Benz 560SL. This clean example is reported to have a mere 24,688 miles on its clock and is ready to transform what your expectations of memorable drive is and also serve as a savvy investment in the years to come
In late 1995, Mercedes-Benz released a compact roadster that would become quite a highly desirable icon. The SLK, which stood for Sport Light Compact in German, featured a powered folding metal hardtop, giving owners a hardtop coupe and a full convertible in one car. Unlike models with detachable hardtops, there was no need to arrange storage for the top when detached, as it simply folded into the car when retracted. That, plus the SLK’s easy to drive dimensions meant that over 300,000 found homes in a nine-year production run. Today, we’ve got a 1998 Mercedes-Benz SLK230 Kompressor from Newtown, Pennsylvania for sale. With less than 64,000 miles on the clock, this is a great car to buy as a weekend cruiser, as well as future classic. However, it’s still capable of being your daily driver if you prefer.
