BMW’s 6-series was aimed at being a two-door coupe variant of the pinnacle 7-series when the first generation E24 debuted in 1976. Enjoying a 13-year production run, the 6-series badge would see a hiatus from 1989 until 2003 when the second-generation E63 would take over until 2010, and the third generation from 2010 until 2018. The third generation expanded the lineup into the four-door realm. The first three generations all enjoyed a madcap M6 variant, and what we have today is a 2013 BMW M6 Coupe from the third generation that hails from Massachusetts with just 35,995 miles under its belt. Do consider this luxury and swift BMW grand tourer as your next ride!

The third generation would see a coupe, convertible, and four-door sedan (called the GranCoupe) as the available body styles, and this 2013 BMW M6 Coupe wears a Black Sapphire Metallic paint job which is complemented by its silver BMW LA M-Spoke 344 wheels that are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires with just 2,000 miles reportedly on them. Those piercing headlamps pack Adaptive LED Headlighting with High Beam Assist for better night-time driving safety. The interior continues the black theme with the full leather Merino package and offers accommodations for four occupants. M multifunction electric seats with memory are on offer for the two front occupants, and the car also comes with dual-zone climate control, Navigation System Professional and high-end Bang & Olufsen surround sound system.

With the third-generation 6-series, engines were either six or eight cylinders, no four-cylinder powerplants were offered. Cranking things up to eleven, this 2013 BMW M6 Coupe packs BMW’s S63 twin-turbocharged V8 displaces 4.4 liters and puts out a potent 553hp and 502lb-ft. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 7-speed Getrag dual-clutch automatic, which enable a zero to sixty sprint time of 4 seconds flat, and a top speed electronically capped at 155mph, although the optional M-Driver’s package can extend that to 190mph. This car is also fitted with a Meistercraft exhaust for added aural tingles, and has had a new air filter and battery installed, along with a recent oil change and service done.

The BMW M6 has represented the top model in BMW’s 6-Series hierarchy since the first M6 emerged in 1983, from the E24 generation of the 6-Series. So what’s the 6-Series? Well, it’s been a luxury grand tourer produced by BMW in intervals over the past four decades. The E24 was the first generation, made between 1976 and 1979. Then, there was a long gap until 2003 when the second generation came into existence. Meanwhile, the fourth generation was made until 2023 and we don’t know what BMW’s future plans are for this particular nameplate. So, it makes sense to get your hands on a 6-Series if you’re a BMW fan who wants something less common from the brand. Today’s 2007 BMW M6 Convertible is a second-generation car from Dallas, Oregon. Packing a powerful V10 under its hood, this car has traveled 45,958 miles so far and is ready for a new owner.

The BMW M6 is an interesting car. It’s always been the high-performance variant of the BMW 6-Series. But what is the 6-Series? Well, it was BMW’s luxury sports coupe in the ’80s. Then, the 6-Series disappeared until the mid-2000s, re-emerging once again as BMW’s luxury sports coupe. Things got a bit more diverse in 2012, when the 6-Series expanded to include a four-door coupe, called the Gran Coupe. That’s where this 2015 BMW M6 Gran Coupe hails from, and it’s a lovely family car for the discerning petrolhead who wants that signature BMW M driving experience in a stylish and family-friendly package. This 100,567-mile car has received a recent servicing, and new injectors for its punchy V8.

BMW’s 6-Series Grand Tourer wouldn’t be complete without a full-fat M-Division variant. Called, you guessed it, the M6, the first of these rolled off the lines in 1983. As expected, it offered the banzai performance for which the M Division is renowned for, but didn’t compromise on the car’s luxury features and long-distance cruising abilities. This 2008 BMW M6 Convertible is from the E63/64 era of 2005 to 2011. As a convertible, its model code is E64, and it’s got 70,500 miles on its odometer. However, don’t let that put you off because this car has received some recent maintenance to help keep it at peak health.

This 1939 BMW 328 Roadster, known in period as a Sportkabriolett, represents one of the most iconic pre-war sports cars produced by BMW, celebrated for its lightweight construction, competition-inspired engineering, and unmistakable motorsport heritage. Originally acquired in Germany by a U.S. Air Force serviceman during his stationing overseas, the car became deeply intertwined with European car club culture and post-war enthusiast life. Driven on the Autobahn, local roads, and historic circuits such as the Nürburgring and Hockenheim, this BMW lived an active early life surrounded by some of the most significant motorsport environments in the world. Its long-term single-family stewardship and eventual preservation to factory-correct condition underscore its authenticity, provenance, and collector significance.

Traditionally, the BMW 6-Series was the Bavarian automaker’s finest luxury two-door model before the flagship 7-Series full-size luxury sedan. That all changed in the 1990s when the 8-Series came to be, but even now, you can buy a 6-Series grand tourer. So let’s check out a fine example of the first generation, that ran between 1976 and 1989. This 1987 BMW 635CSi is up for sale in Davenport, Florida, and if you want to know how great it is to drive, consider its 179,000 mile odometer reading a true testament to its excellence. Don’t worry if it seems a little leggy by number; these BMWs are built solidly, and with requisite maintenance, can keep going. And it just takes one look at our photos so see that this car has received some pretty good care.

Made between 1995 and 2002, the BMW Z3 was a two-door, two-seat compact sports car that was intended to open up BMW’s appeal to a broader, younger audience. It offered many of BMW’s driving and luxury attributes in a compact and more urban-friendly package. Plus, the Z3 was BMW’s first model to be solely manufactured outside Germany, with all examples coming to life at the company’s plant in Greer, South Carolina. The Z3 even had an outing as a Bond car, featuring in 1995’s Goldeneye where Pierce Brosnan briefly drives it. Now, the Z3 is attaining modern classic status and we have one up for grabs. It’s a 2000 BMW Z3 2.3 from Sebastian, Florida, with over 61,000 miles on the clock. It’s also a reportedly all-stock car.
