Anyone who has even a passing interest in cars likely knows about the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. This is what happened when Mitsubishi decided to inject some of their World Rally Championship-winning DNA into their Lancer compact car. Ten generations of Evolution were made between 1992 and 2016, thrilling enthusiasts across the globe. Early models sadly didn’t make it to the United States, but later ones did. This particular 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X GSR is rather interesting, as it’s from the last generation of Evo, as they are fondly known. With its 2.0-liter MIVEC TURBO engine, 5-speed manual transmission and Sight & Sound Package, it’s got quite a value proposition to offer. In short, it’s a ferociously quick family car that can easily settle down for a daily drive, then buckle up for the weekend blast at the track.

From the outside, the GSR builds on its rally heritage with functional aluminum front fenders, a vented aluminum hood, a rear wing, and 18-inch Enkei wheels. Additional exterior features include rear privacy glass, heated power side mirrors, rain-sensing wipers, and fog lights. Inside, the cabin focuses on sporty practicality, offering high-contact sport fabric seats, automatic climate control, FAST-key illumination (included with the Sight & Sound Package), a multi-information LCD display, and a 6.1-inch display audio system with HD Radio, SiriusXM capability, and Bluetooth. The interior also includes a leather-wrapped steering wheel, aluminum pedals, gloss black trim, a trunk light, and multiple storage compartments. Safety and comfort conveniences such as adjustable rear headrests, height-adjustable front seatbelts, and a full suite of airbags complete the interior.

Under the hood lies Mitsubishi’s 2.0L turbocharged DOHC 16-valve engine rated at 291 hp and paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. The GSR features rack-and-pinion hydraulic power steering, Brembo front and rear brakes, and a sport-tuned suspension with Bilstein shocks and Eibach springs (GSR standard). The advanced Super All-Wheel Control system integrates multiple stability and traction technologies including Active Center Differential, Active Yaw Control, Active Stability Control, and a limited-slip front differential. Safety systems include ABS with electronic brake-force distribution, tire pressure monitoring, LATCH child restraints, and an anti-theft engine immobilizer. The optional Sight & Sound Package adds the HID headlights, premium Rockford Fosgate sound system, and FAST-key entry, rounding out the vehicle’s factory mechanical and electronic equipment.

The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is a popular super sedan that represents the brilliance of the Japanese automotive industry. It's well known amongst motorsport enthusiasts for its success in rallying, such as with the legendary Finnish driver Tommi Mäkinen, who put the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution name on the world stage by winning four world championships. Derived from these rallying roots, there is one more thing that made these fabled Japanese cars so popular: their mod-ability. That's demonstrated with this particular 10th-generation Lancer Evolution that comes modified with a host of performance upgrades and even a new 2.0L turbocharged inline-four engine with a mere 2,100 miles clocked. The Air Lift suspension is the cherry on top, combined with all the other upgrades, allowing this modified 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution to be parked in the coolest stance possible. If air suspension isn't your thing, then this all-wheel drive Evo even comes with Tien Flex-Z Coilovers, which are not installed but ready for you to swap to.

When you think of motorsport rivals, it's hard to overlook the legendary battle between the Mitsubishi Evolution and the Subaru WRX of the '90s. With homologated variants making their way, the automotive world was never the same again, with collectors looking to purchase the next best and rarest variant of the legendary Japanese legends out there. Present today is arguably the rarest and sought-after variant of the entire Mitsubishi Evolution lineup, which takes form with this 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition. This limited edition has a reported 3,375 miles on the clock and is the perfect goodbye to an automotive legend and a savvy investment for the years to come; what's better? This piece of automotive history can be yours to drive off in today.

Now here’s a lovely little curio all the way from the Land of the Rising Sun – Japan! It’s called the Mitsubishi Pajero Junior, and it’s a dinky little four-by-four! Yes, this cutesy thing you see in our photos is a fully-fledged off-roader! The Pajero Junior was made between 1995 and 1998, as a bite-sized variant of Mitsubishi’s capable Pajero (or Montero, depending on where you hail from) full-size off-roader. It’s a little larger than a kei car, but not by much. This particular 1996 Mitsubishi Pajero Junior ZR-II is up for sale in Oceanside, New York, having covered a mere only over 28,000 miles so far. So, if you want a small vehicle that’s great for urban running duties but can also conquer an off-road trail and shame much larger four by fours, this is your ticket to ride.

Cars with character are slowly becoming a thing of the past; regulations call for machines stripped of what makes them driver cars, and changing customer tastes mean popular marques are slowly making their way off the production lines. Present today is this 2017 Subaru WRX STI. Hailing from Clayton, North Carolina, this Japanese weapon of performance is the perfect drag-strip dasher, track weapon, or even the perfect way to take on the great outdoors in style.

If ever there was a car whose derriere generated controversy, it’s got to be the second-generation Lexus SC. Introduced in 2001 and produced until 2010, its rear end has been described as shapely by some, and bloated by others. Regardless of this, it’s a fine luxury grand tourer by Lexus, who is, in case you didn’t know, Toyota’s luxury arm. So, if you buy this 110,000-mile 2003 Lexus SC430, you’re sure to be availing yourself to a luxury car that, unlike almost all other twenty plus year machines, will be in great order. This V8-powered machine is now up for grabs in Naples, Florida, in case you’re tempted.

Now here’s a veritable legend up for grabs in Fort Lauderdale right now. This 1999 Nissan Skyline GT-R has just 50,000 miles on the clock and a host of features to make it a true hero of the race track or drag strip. Its RB28 has received a Nitto stroker kit, an Ati 1000hp harmonic damper, and more to make it really move like the wind. Add to all this a set of aftermarket wheels and a Midnight Purple paint job and you’ve got a car that’s nearly ethereal in being. And yet, it exists, we know where it is, and it’s up for sale. Contact us right now if you want to become its next custodian.
