Ever since its first generation, the Chevrolet Bel Air was meant to be a status symbol, a vehicle that stood out and made a statement. Nothing about this full-sized sedan is discreet. You could say it was meant for those who smoked cigars and drank whisky in the evenings, and when it hit the road, it was these exact people who gravitated to the Bel-Air, and before long, the car became one of the most iconic American automobiles of its time. This particular model rolled out of the factory nearly seven decades ago but still maintains its iconic aesthetic.
