The legendary Ford F-Series pickup trucks date back to 1948 and are renowned for offering sturdy load-luggers to this day. Now in the fourteenth generation, the most popular F-truck is the F-150. There have been more special editions than one has fingers, and not surprisingly, some of them were pretty sporty. Shelby American is one of those firms that got their mitts on the F-150, with the result being this 2020 Ford F-150 Shelby Super Snake that we've got up for sale. Slithering into our inventory with just 3,900 miles, are you ready to wrangle this serpent?

Where shall we start? This 2020 Ford F-150 Shelby Super Snake wears a sinister black paintwork punctuated by twin stripes right down the middle of the hood, roof, and tailgate. You've got ample Shelby branding all over, including on the side air vents, stickers down the side of the doors, across the hood, and adorning the tailgate. Face-on, an enormous hood scoop plus a mesh grille signals that this isn't your garden-variety F-150. At the side, you'll notice that it's been lifted and sits on a set of black Shelby alloy wheels shod in BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A tires. The interior features a predominantly gray color theme, with Shelby stitching into the seat backs, lest you mistake this Super Snake for a regular F-150. Admittedly, the presence of Carroll Shelby's signature on the tachometer is going to make that hard, as is the numbered plaque ahead of the front passenger. The interior features all the creature comforts you'd expect, including powered and heated front seats, heated rear seats, dual-zone climate control with rear passenger vents, a touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone integration, and a decent sound system. The bed features a load cover and is lined with carpet, so you want to avoid throwing your greasy tools or leaky paint buckets in there. It's more suited for family luggage transportation duties.

However, your family may express a mixture of thrill and fear when you flatten the gas pedal on this 2020 Ford F-150 Shelby Super Snake. Doing so will awaken the supercharged 5.0-liter V8 and induce it to send all 770 horsepower to the wheels via an automatic transmission. The truck also features upgraded brakes with red brake calipers and adjustable Fox racing shock absorbers. It hasn't lost its off-road vibe either, with Shelby-branded underbody protection on hand.

One of the best ways to experience a classic car is to cruise down in town with a drop-top first-generation Ford Mustang. You’ll be guaranteed to receive smiles, waves and general gestures of appreciation because who doesn’t love a Mustang? Introduced in 1964, the Mustang created a class of car called the pony car, and also facilitated an entire culture of happy, carefree cruising. Drop-top examples like this 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible are most facilitative of this culture, and will definitely invoke fond memories from many of those who were around at the time. Heck, even the new generation will love the car’s simplicity and characterful nature. This particular pony is up for sale in Westlake, Louisiana with 7,337 miles on the clock, we’re told. It’s also been fitted with aftermarket air conditioning, a retro stereo, a new convertible top and new whitewall tires too!
