The RAM 1500 is part of the RAM Pickup line of full-size and heavy duty pickup trucks. Originally a marque of Dodge, when it was known as the Dodge RAM, it became a separate brand in 2010. In 2019, the DT or fifth generation was introduced to the world, and with it came a super-truck variant called the RAM 1500 TRX. Its truly a madcap thing with a supercharged V8 that is factory rated at 702hp and 661lb-ft. But would you believe it, for some, even that isn’t enough. Enter this 2021 RAM 1500 TRX Crew Cab that’s up for sale in Boynton Beach, Florida having covered just 36,371 miles so far. Its original 6.2-liter V8 has been lifted out, and replaced with an HHP Racing 426ci (7.0L) BOHEMI long block stroker V8! Then, it’s been fitted with a Stage 2 Whipple Gen 5 supercharger that itself displaces 3.0-liters. That, the TRX Level 2 Equipment Group, the Customer Preferred Package 29Y and more goodies make this one heck of a way to cross diverse terrain types at speed, or create a spectacle at the drag strip.
Exterior and Interior
Bright White seems an unconventional choice for something as crazy as this 2021 RAM 1500 TRX Crew Cab, but it works. That’s because the truck features lower two-tone paint, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, the TRX carbon fiber package and Mopar off-road style running boards. It’s got black power-folding trailer-tow mirrors, the Trailer Tow group, black wheels with off-road tires, MBRP exhaust tips and, naturally, a proper full-size cargo bed. The black interior of this 2021 RAM 1500 TRX Crew Cab is fitted with the Technology Group, Advanced Safety Group, a 19-speaker Harman/Kardon premium sound system and more. You’ve got front power-adjustable seats, automatic climate control with rear occupant air vents, and heating plus ventilation for not only the front, but outboard rear seats too. The cabin also offers ample charging ports, cup holders and storage spaces. Finally, there are some rather nice red accents.
Engine
Under the hood, the original 6.2-liter supercharged HEMI has been replaced with a professionally built HHP 426ci HEMI Behemoth stroker long block, featuring forged internals, CNC-ported heads, upgraded valvetrain components, and reinforced hardware designed for sustained high-boost operation. Induction is handled by a Whipple Gen 5 3.0L supercharger in Stage 2 configuration, paired with a larger throttle body, upgraded pulleys, and supporting airflow and cooling enhancements. The fuel system has been comprehensively upgraded to support E85 operation, including higher-capacity pumps, injectors, control modules, and custom tuning via HP Tuners. Long-tube headers, a TRX-specific cat-back exhaust with carbon fiber tips, and intake upgrades further improve flow and response. To match the added power, the chassis has been reinforced with upgraded braking via an Alcon front big brake kit, revised suspension components, and driveline servicing and replacement where necessary.
