Overview of 1965 Ford Thunderbird For Sale by Owner

The Ford Thunderbird, often known as the T-Bird, is a personal luxury car that was produced for eleven generations from 1955 to 2005. The T-Bird was such a sensation in the 1960s that it became a symbol of the wealthy and moderately well-off. It ruled the market until a few competitors appeared, including the Buick Riviera and Pontiac Grand Prix. However, the Thunderbird retained the leading market share. We're excited to present this stunning example of the 1965 Ford Thunderbird Convertible from Florida, which was formerly owned by an enthusiast who owned multiple T-Birds, certifying it was well-cared for. It is reported to have matching numbers and recently replaced tires with very little wear. It is stated that this Thunderbird has been freshly tuned up and its oil changes and service are up to date. For the classic-lovers who like to turn heads, it’s your chance to own a true beauty from the 60s.

Exterior and Interior

The 1965 T-Bird received new exterior trims such as a new grill, Thunderbird emblem replacing the block letters, simulated front fender vent trim and Thunderbird scripts on the rear edge of the quarter panels. The striking bodywork on our subject 1965 Ford Thunderbird Convertible is cloaked in Medium Blue Metallic color and the chrome is all shiny. This car was repainted about 20 years ago and features a white power convertible top. An aftermarket Tonneau cover is also included in the sale. The imposing interior of this 1965 Ford Thunderbird has an eye-catching black and white color scheme. It is equipped with power windows, factory AM/FM radio and a heater. The L-shaped console, big dashboard fascia, instrument pods, and the swing-away steering wheel all contributes to the ambience of a car for the well-heeled.

Engine

The elegant mien of this 1965 Ford Thunderbird Convertible is not to be mistaken for what lies beneath its hood. It retains its sporty image with the 390ci V8 engine that grant you a classic heart-thumping roar every time you step on the go-pedal. It makes due with a 3-speed automatic transmission and features a 4-barrel carb and new plugs and wires. It also comes with power steering and power brakes, providing courtesy for a relaxing cruise.
