The Range Rover was launched back in 1970 by manufacturer British Leyland. Classed initially as an upmarket 4x4 vehicle, today’s iteration is considered a symbol of luxury and dominance on the road today. The fourth-generation Range Rover, such as the one featured here, made its first appearance back in 2012 at the Paris Motor Show and turned heads immediately as it was given a complete redesign. Our subject car is a 2016 Land Rover Range Rover LWB custom and is located in California. The car has done 33,000 miles and features some choice additions and upgrades.
Exterior and Interior
The Exterior of this 2016 Range Rover LWB almost looks like it rolled out of the British Secret Service. It features custom blacked-out trim, which includes a color-matched logo, grille, and trim around the body, as well as blacked-out taillights and a jet-coated exhaust. Wheels are custom Redbourne 22-inch black rims wrapped in a set of massive 32-inch all-terrain Nitto Grappler tires. Behind the wheels are brand-new brake calipers and rotors with reflective Brembo logos. The upper and lower control arms have been upgraded with rubber bushings rated at 100,000 miles. The interior maintains the all-black look with the exception of a few silver accents on the dash and door panels that appear to be in pristine condition and are well looked after with a few extras such as a set of rear folding tables to eliminate your ‘dining on the go’ issues. But the calling is the custom-made Strongbox gun vault installed to fit the full length of the truck with a 2inch offset so that the air conditioner can still operate without issues.
Engine
Don’t be fooled into thinking that the Rover’s gargantuan size results in low speeds. This beast carries with it a massive 5.0L V8 engine that’s capable of producing 370hp of power and 510 Nm (376 lb-ft) of torque, doing a 0-60 in 6.5 seconds.
The Range Rover has long represented the intersection of British luxury and all-terrain capability, but Overfinch takes that formula several steps further. The satin Borealis Black finish, crushed carbon exterior detailing, and massive 23-inch forged wheels ensure it has presence from every angle, while the stretched wheelbase makes it especially desirable for buyers who prioritize rear-seat luxury.

The Land Rover Defender is one of the most iconic off-road vehicles ever produced, earning a reputation for durability, simplicity, and go-anywhere capability in some of the harshest environments on Earth. Finished in Chawton White, it retains the unmistakable boxy silhouette that has made the Defender a global legend while benefiting from tasteful upgrades including a roof rack, LED headlights, and DV8 Works Sawtooth alloy wheels.
