The market for vintage cars from the Thirties is one of those that only recently burgeoned. Now, they have become hot property among the customizer community. From lightly modified to full-blown customs, Thirties cars enjoy a special place there. If it’s a balance you seek, this 1937 Ford Coupe 351 Windsor is the perfect mix of old school and modern design. Located in Louisiana, this car was commissioned by the current owner's wife as a gift and is a ten-year build done to perfection. Included in the sale are two keys and two fobs.

The exterior of this 1937 Ford Coupe 351 Windsor represents its original design but sports an exotic 2004 Lamborghini Orange exterior. Custom modifications done to the exterior include the roof chopped by 6-inches for that low look, shaved taillights, and powered trunk. Open the trunk and the airbag suspension set-up is on display. Power lift and lowered front hood are also present, as are shaved door handles with ‘door poppers’ actuated by the key fob. As mentioned, the air bag air suspension is present which makes this car ride low on its Billet specialty wheels, which are 18-inch up front and a massive 20-inch at the rear. The wheels wear Dunlop street tires, which are staggered to be narrower at the front and wider at the rear. The beige soft leather interior is all custom as well. The seller noted that everything in the car is billet. Custom modifications include billet gauges, aftermarket billet steering wheel, suicide doors set up with power windows, and power locks. You also get air conditioning to keep things chilled and a Kenwood stereo system for some good tunes to ‘make some noise’ as per the seller.

Gone are the old flathead V8s; powering this 1937 Ford Coupe 351 WIndsor is a 351 Windsor V8 engine with electronic fuel injection, which is capable of pushing out more than 250hp. Power is sent to the rear wheels of the car through a C6 Ford automatic transmission. Stopping power is vastly improved thanks to a Wilwood braking system and disc brakes on all four corners. You also get power steering as well for a pleasant drive.
