The Ford Bronco is an iconic classic off roader. Introduced for the 1966 model year, it is believed by many to be the first true American sport utility vehicle. Coming in a stylish two-door body, the Bronco packed plenty of off-road abilities, plus some impressive creature comforts for the time. This particular first-generation 1971 Ford Bronco is several cuts above the rest, as it’s received the Velocity Signature Series treatment. What that means is, a new heart and some modern creature comforts, wrapped in the same classic body that we know and love. So, it’s a restomod, but one of the best you can find.
This 1971 Ford Bronco Velocity Signature Series has custom Glasurit paint in Anvil Gray, and is bolstered by a Raptor-lined undercarriage and floor. It’s got chrome trim accessories, chrome OEM bumpers and chrome mirrors for that quintessential Sixties and Seventies look. The truck sits on a restored original Bronco chassis and frame, but wears modern 17-inch alloy wheels with purposeful BF Goodrich tires. It’s also got synchronized dual wipers and power steps as modern amenities. You’ll also note the higher ride height, made possible by a 2.5-inch ride height lift. Finally, LED headlamps have been installed to light the way on dark days. The interior of this 1971 Ford Bronco Velocity Signature Series features Velocity Custom all-weather floor mats. You sit on Velocity high-back front seats in Hickory Double Diamond leather. Meanwhile, there are rear fold and tumble seats for more passengers. Theres a 15-inch classic wood steering wheel on an Ididit tilt steering column. Then, there’s Vintage Air air conditioning and a Bluetooth head unit. This plays via Focal Audio speakers and subwoofer. Finally, there’s a Dakota Digital gauge cluster that’s Velocity Exclusive.
Beneath the hood of this 1971 Ford Bronco Velocity Signature Series lurks a modern Gen III 5.0L Ford V8, driving the wheels via a 10-speed automatic gearbox. There’s a Velocity serpentine system, performance exhaust and aluminum fuel tank too. Then, we’ve got Wilwood disc brakes, Bilstein custom shock absorbers and Hydraboost assisted steering. Finally, all the drive goes to the road via a Dana 44 front axle and a Ford 9-inch rear axle.

In 1987, the fourth generation of Ford’s popular Bronco 4x4 was revealed. It shared many engineering components with the Ford F-150 of the time, but received new styling. In the first year, over 43,000 found new homes. Imagine how the first owner of this 1987 Ford Bronco XLT must have felt! After all, the Bronco was one of the most desirable sport utility vehicles in the United States at the time. Today, you can see what this fine vehicle can offer, because it’s up for sale in San Diego, California. Let’s learn more about its features.

The first generation Ford Mustang was a smooth cruiser when it had an in-line six-cylinder engine under the hood. Frugal yet fun motoring was possible in this pioneering pony car. Yet, when equipped with the larger V8 engines, the Mustang turned into a true thoroughbred of the racetrack or drag strip. Cars such as this 1967 Ford Mustang GTA offered thrilling acceleration and a stirring V8 soundtrack, paired with the relative ease of an automatic transmission. The engine’s massive power and torque figures meant that even with the slushbox, performance was impressive. This particular car has covered 51,000 miles, comes with the GTA Package and is up for sale in Bownstown Township, Michigan. You’d better act fast to grab it.

Ford’s Mustang has been around for over sixty years and is now in its seventh generation. It’s one of those relatively rare nameplates that’s been around since the time of your parents, and your grandparents as well, if you’re a Millenial or Gen Z’er. Few automotive nameplates can claim such fame, or celebrate anniversaries in spades. Take this fourth-generation 2004 Ford Mustang GT Deluxe Convertible 40th Anniversary as a prime example. Having traveled a smidge over 28,000 miles and currently chilling out in Maryland, this drop-top pony could be your weekend ride, as well as a significant nest egg, given that it’ll be a classic very soon. The car reportedly comes with all maintenance up to date, for peace of mind.

The GMC Jimmy is the sister vehicle of the Chevrolet Blazer. Both vehicles are basically SUV variants of the Chevy C/K-series of pickup trucks, and offer a more family-friendly value proposition. Until 1976, these SUVs also came with a removable hardtop, although it wasn’t as straightforward to remove as a typical convertible top. If you’d like to own one of these iconic vehicles, check out this 1975 GMC Jimmy High Sierra 4WD that’s for sale right now in Rancho Santa Margarita, California. The vehicle has reportedly covered 58,000 miles so far.
The pickup truck is crucial to the fabric of American car culture, carving out a space in people’s hearts since the earliest models were introduced. This 1966 Chevrolet C10 is a beautifully restored example of one of Chevy’s most iconic pickups. Benefitting from a full restoration completed in 2024, this truck blends classic charm with tasteful modern enhancements. With a fresh 350ci engine under the hood, a new Turbo 350 automatic transmission, and a full list of refreshed components, this C10 offers a turn-key classic truck experience that’s both eye-catching and ready to drive.
