Overview of 1994 Toyota Supra Turbo For Sale by Owner

The fourth generation Toyota Supra is THE legend. That’s because it prominently featured in The Fast And The Furious franchise. But even before its Hollywood outing, the Supra had gained fame as a tuner favorite. Its legendary 2JZ-GTE twin-turbo straight six was well known for being able to make fantastic power outputs with rudimentary mods and bolt-ons. That’s why when a fourth-gen Supra comes on the market, its eagerly snapped up. So here’s one right now, straight from Vegas. This 44,000-mile 1994 Toyota Supra Sport Roof is a fine catch for the discerning enthusiast and you’d better act fast if you want it in your custody.

Exterior and Interior

Wearing a nice red coat, this 1994 Toyota Supra Sport Roof features a removable targa top that allows you to enjoy a nice semi-convertible experience when desired. The car’s timeless Nineties styling has aged well, and even its sky-high rear spoiler that nearly matches the roofline in height is, surprisingly, stock fitment. The car rides on a set of ESR Performance aftermarket wheels in gray. The tan interior of this 1994 Toyota Supra Sport Roof is a real Nineties time capsule. Note the driver focused dashboard with the center console angled towards the driving position. The car comes with automatic climate control, air conditioning and the original Toyota radio with CD and cassette tape players. Then, you gaze at the gauge cluster and see the tachometer running all the way to 10,000rpm with a redline at 8,200rpm and it’s not hard to get excited, even though this car totes and automatic transmission. By the way, the speedometer runs all the way to 200mph! Behind the two main seats is a small bench with two extra seats for children, yes this car is a 2+2, just like, say, a Porsche 911. Then, you’ve also got decent cargo space beneath the rear liftback. Who said a Supra can’t be practical?

Engine

This 1994 Toyota Supra Sport Roof packs the fearsome 2JZ-GTE under the hood. This 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged in-line six was officially rated at a reported 321hp and 318lb-ft. However, it’s not hard to crest the 500 horsepower mark with some mods – if you want. Otherwise, enjoy the car as it is, with its rear-wheel drive layout and 4-speed automatic transmission offering an easy yet thrilling driving experience.
