Overview of 2007 Subaru Impreza For Sale by Owner

Many things put a smile on the face of an automotive enthusiast, and sitting at the very top of that list is the growl of a boxer engine that these cars have inherited. Most of us are aware of Subaru's legacy of building rally weapons, and, over the years, this very car, the WRX STI, has kept the Japanese automaker relevant. The WRX STI received several facelifts before it came to look like the car, for example, known famously as the 'Hawkeye' Subie. It is an absolute icon in JDM culture, known for its tunability and fierce rivalry against the legendary Mitsubishi Evolution. This particular example of a 2007 Subaru WRX STI example is the result of tasteful modifications, and it is currently up for sale.

Exterior and Interior

The Hawkeye Subaru WRX STI, introduced in 2006 as the second facelift, is a popular sports car known for its sleek and aggressive exterior design. The front fascia features a black mesh grille, a hood scoop, and angular headlights that give the car an imposing look. The front bumper, too, has a larger air intake which adds to the aggressive look. The Subaru's side profile is naturally aggressive, but this 2007 Subaru WRX STI in particular is sporting an aftermarket body kit and fenders. The car's primary color is Crystal Gray Metallic, with the hood and boot lid in carbon fiber. The car sits on a set of black Circuit Racing wheels wrapped in Yokohama performance tires. The 2007 Subaru WRX STI has an interior designed to match its sporty exterior styling. The car seats five people, with the front seats featuring deep bolsters for added support during high-speed driving. The interior is trimmed in black and blue upholstery and features a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The dashboard is well-laid-out and features easy-to-read gauges, with a central LCD that shows various performance metrics.

Engine

The star of this machine of course is the turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder Boxer engine that has a company of aftermarket components adding to the overall engine output. Included in the build is a Cobb Access Port, waking up the motor with an aftermarket Turbo, Intercooler, Cold Air Intake, Downpipe and Blow Off Valve. The sophisticated all-wheel-drive system paired with its short throw, six-speed manual transmission makes this car one of the most capable vehicles on the world rally stage, even though this example has been tweaked to suit asphalt conditions.
