Mention the word Mustang together with the acronym P51-A in the same sentence, and most folk will instantly remember the iconic WWII fighter plane that dominated the skies. But for car enthusiasts, they mean something else entirely: say hello to the Ford Mustang Roush P-51A. Jack Roush, the founder of Roush Performance, is a huge fan and pilot of vintage airplanes, including the Mustang P51. So when it came to designing a special edition based on the S197 generation of Mustang, the tuner decided to pay homage to the iconic plane. Our featured 2008 Ford Mustang Roush P-51A is serial numbered 28 out of a very limited production run of just 151 examples. It also features extremely low mileage, with just 18,000 miles on the odometer.
All 2008 Ford Mustang Roush P-51As were finished in the same color scheme as a tribute to the original planes they were upon. The exterior is Vapor Gray, with olive green stripes running over the top and Roush graphics. You’ll also find a cosmetic hood-scoop with the “Roushcharged” text on either side, as well as a Roush Aerobody kit and vented rear quarter window covers. Adding to the unique look of the 2008 Ford Mustang Roush P-51A are chrome Roush forged wheels. Inside the Roush P-51A, you’ll find a black leather interior with “P51A” stitched seats and carpets. Roush logos feature on the tachometer and speedometer, while the meter cluster also bears the signature of company founder, Jack Roush.
Under the hood is an extensively fettled 4.6-liter V8 engine that, of course, features a Roush supercharger. More than just a bolt-on modification, though, the team at Roush went the extra mile. It now includes a forged steel 8-bolt crankshaft, forged aluminum pistons with an altered profile to lower compression ratio, and forged steel H-Beam connecting rods. You’ll also find a carbon fiber cold air tube and a Roush Off-Road exhaust. The modifications combine to give this Mustang an output of 510 hp and 510 lb-ft of torque — extremely impressive figures for a car that was launched in 2008. Other factory upgrades include a Roush Stage 3 suspension system and four-piston brakes at the front.

For those who crave tremendous horsepower figures but still want a ride with good road manners, Roush created the perfect blend. If you know your Mustangs, you might’ve heard of a highly sought-after package dubbed the California Special. The brainchild of Lee Iacocca and Donald N. Frey, Ford’s Mustang has got to rank firmly in the automaker’s top three most successful cars, and one of the most widely sold in the United States. It’s been around since late 1964, and is now in the seventh generation. It is the sole survivor in the pony car class today, a class that it created way back in 1964. Furthermore, the Mustang has been immortalized in song as well as on the silver screen. While fastbacks and convertibles get most of the love, Ford did offer a third body style called the hardtop. This 1966 Ford Mustang is one such example and it’s a lovely chance to grab yourself a great first-generation Mustang in superb condition, with a formidable performance set-up, and a few nice upgrades to behold.
The famous Ford T-Bird is a legend in classic American car circles. It was Ford’s groundbreaker at the time, and introduced a new category called Personal Luxury Cars. These were swish and speedy two-seaters with comfortable and luxurious interiors, potent V8 engines under the hood, and the ability to travel for hundreds of miles at a time with minimal disturbance or discomfort to their well-heeled occupants. They also came with decent cargo space, aimed at being driven from five-star hotel to five-star hotel, or from mansion to posh office and back home. However, by the second generation, Ford added a rear seat to broaden the car’s target market. Ten generations of T-Bird were made between 1955 and 1997, but in 2002, Ford revived the nameplate for a final hurrah. The eleventh generation was a homage to the very first, and returned to its two-seat roots. Today’s 2002 Ford Thunderbird hails from that retro-modern era, and is available in Pennsylvania having covered just 19,506 miles so far. The car is reportedly all original, right down to including the black removable hard top in addition to its black powered soft top.

Many people believe that the Porsche Boxter is the greatest first-time Porsche purchase because, for a relatively reduced cost, you can get yourself into the driver's seat of a very capable sports car. It is sublime to drive and won’t punish you in the daily grind. This was at least when it was first introduced. Today, they have become coveted classics that earn compliments wherever they go. The Boxter was the company's first roadster since the 914, and it was a smash success. The Porsche 986, especially the first generation, is an enjoyable, low-maintenance car. That is why we think that you will love this beautiful example of the 1998 Porsche Boxster. It shows 64800 miles on its odometer and is currently located in Glendale, Arizona. With a few packages up its sleeve, this nippy beauty is ready to arrive at your home.
The Porsche 911 is a car that most petrolheads and enthusiasts aspire to own at some stage of their lives. It’s one of the most prolific sports cars in the world, with its quirky, rear-engined layout and distinctive teardrop shape that’s changed little from its introduction in 1964 to the present day. From that point over six decades ago until 1998, the engine used air cooling, resulting in a distinctive purr. However, post-1998 cars have water-cooled engines, a casualty of tightening emissions regulations. The flip side of this is, water cooling enabled them to make even more power and offer more potent performance. That’s why we’re sure that this Maryland-based 2008 Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet won’t have any trouble finding a new home. It’s from the 997 generation, is a drop-top and has driven just under 92,000 miles so far.
The fifth generation or C5 Corvette stands out as the last one of the previous century, as well as the last pop-up headlamp example in the Corvette’s storied history. Debuting for the 1997 model year, it was a complete change from the venerable C4, featuring a new hydroformed box frame with more rigidity, a rear transaxle that included the transmission for better weight distribution, and of course, a new interior. Today’s C5s are fondly looked upon as one of the marque’s watershed moments before 2000. If you’re a C5 fan because let’s face it, many people are, we’ve got a 55,000-mile 2000 Chevrolet Corvette from Lowell for sale. This car comes with two keys, the spare tire plus jack kit, and a tasty aftermarket exhaust.
