The Ford F-150 is not a vehicle that requires any introduction. The F-series is the best-selling American car of all time, with over 41 million units sold since its introduction in 1948. Shelby is not a name that requires any introduction, either. Started by motorsport legend Carroll Shelby, Shelby American is a company that is synonymous with high performance. Shelby is most famous for its many collaborations with Ford over the years, from the GT40 to the many Shelby Mustangs that we’ve seen over the years. This, however, is Shelby’s take on the F-150. Both Ford and Dodge are famous for their high-performance editions of popular trucks; back in the '90s and early 2000s, Ford made the Lightning, and Dodge made the “Viper truck,” both of which are still loved by enthusiasts. In recent years, Dodge (and later on, RAM) succeeded with the 1500 TRX. Its direct competitor from Ford itself is the F-150 Raptor R, but this truck is Shelby’s take on making a fast Ford truck. For the Baja, Shelby chose to take the V6 version over the supercharged V8 and take what is usually the more economical variant and turn it into a beast.

This 2020 Shelby Baja Raptor has a graphite exterior and a black leather interior. The 18” Shelby Raptor alloy wheels have red Shelby brake caliper covers behind them. Shelby has worked on every single part of the exterior. At the front, it has a Shelby Baja front bumper, a custom-painted Raptor grill, Shelby lettering, and a 40” curved LED light bar. At the back are a Shelby Baja rear bumper, a Shelby Baja bed chase rack, and two full-size spare wheels and tire mounts. It even has XL power steps with rock sliders and Shelby 525hp rocker panel graphics. It has a Shelby carbon fiber interior with full leather recovers, red accents, and Shelby embroidery on the seats. Billet racing pedals match this interior as well.

The exterior modifications may be thorough, but the mechanical improvements are on a whole other level. Under the hood is a 3.5L V6 with an automatic transmission, but now it makes 525hp. On the handling side, there’s a Shelby-tuned Fox 3” Raptor stage 2 shock system, a Ford live valve integrated controller, and adjustable three-position ride controls on all four shocks. All this means that the Baja Raptor is ready to take on its competition both on and off the road.

Whatever happened to Jeep’s famous CJ or Civilian Jeep series from 1948 until 1986? Well, you see, it became the Wrangler! Yes, that’s why the two have some serious commonalities in terms of not only styling, but sheer off-road ability. The Wrangler nameplate took over in 1986, with some comprehensive re-engineering, but the basic principles have remained true to this day. That’s why today’s 1997 Jeep Wrangler Sport is a formidable off-road buddy to have. It’s got 118,000 miles and hails from Wichita, Kansas. Plus, it’s part of the TJ or second generation, which came for the 1997 model year.

The Wrangler is descended directly from the WWII Willys Jeep. It's no surprise that it shares several features with the original Jeep, such as removable doors. Fans often describe the 1997–2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ generation as a "sweet spot." This generation offers the renowned look of the original Jeep while blending modern mechanical upgrades and improved comfort. Fans welcomed the TJ's return of the classic round headlights from the previous CJ models. The 2002 Jeep Wrangler came with four main trim levels, namely, SE, X, Sport, and Sahara. What we have here is a 2002 Jeep Wrangler Sahara, which is the top-tier trim, adding more premium features and distinct styling. Bearing 114302 miles on its odometer, this Wrangler awaits in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for its new owner.
