The Ford Model T is truly a distinctive piece of automotive history. The Model T was the first automobile ever to be built on an assembly line, reducing its initial production time from 12.5 hours to a mere 93 minutes by 1914. By the time ford rolled out its ten-millionth Model T, half of all cars in the world were of Ford heritage. Undeniably one of the most significant symbols of innovation and success for the Ford Family, a staggering 15 million of these units were manufactured, with Henry Ford himself along with his son Edsel, Driving the 15-millionth Model T out of the factory, marking the Model T's last official day of production. The legacy of the legendary model T, more commonly known as 'Tin Lizzie,' carried on and took number 8 on the top-ten list of most cars sold of all time as of 2012. This beautiful Ford model T Roadster sits in California and is your chance to own one of the greatest pieces of American automotive history.

The interior of this model T has been preserved with great effort, still boasting its beautiful, couch-like black leather seats, finely polished four-spoke wooden steering wheel, and Ford-manufactured floor mats. This Model T also has a beautiful Stewart Warner speedometer. This Model T's outer beauty is what really appeals. This 1915 version was one of the brass era models, which means it features beautiful golden accents on its brass light caps, side mirror, and flashy radiator, which holds a beautiful golden brass heart gauge. The car still possesses its original tank, warning signal, and features wooden spoke metal rims painted in black. This example happens to be a two-door convertible, giving a true turn-of-the-century 'roadster' feel.

The Model T possesses a front-mounted 2.9L, inline four-cylinder engine, pushing around 20 horses to the rear wheels, partnered with a 3-speed planetary gear type, allowing it to reach top speeds of approximately 40-45 mph. Although not the fastest according to today's standards, the takeaway here is that this 106-year-old Model T runs to this day, which is a true representation of brilliant automotive craftsmanship.

Never has a car had more of an impact on automotive manufacturing processes than Henry Ford’s famous Model T. It wasn’t his first car, but it was the one that mobilized not only Americans, but the world. Made between 1908 and 1927, the Model T sold over 15 million units. Its record would not be surpassed until the Volkswagen Beetle many decades later. Another interesting fact is, as the Model T’s production processes were streamlined and optimized, the price of the car actually reduced! For example, a Model T cost US$825 in 1908 for the Runabout variant, with the Touring being priced at $850. By 1924, when this 1924 Ford Model T Touring was released, the Runabout was priced at $265! Being a Touring, this car would have cost a little more, but definitely less than $300. Isn’t that amazing? This particular car appears to have undergone a full restoration which is necessary when you consider that it’s over 100 years old! Now, it’s available in Longmont, Colorado.
