In 1969 GM released the revolutionary Chevrolet K5 Blazer. The Blazer was a full-size sport-utility vehicle with a short-wheelbase frame. It was initially built to compete with the International Harvester Scout & the Ford Bronco. After its introduction, the Blazer quickly became popular and outsold both of its rivals. What made the Blazer very popular was the amalgamation of its sturdy off-road capabilities with luxury touches such as air conditioning and automatic transmission. Making its way into pop culture, the Chevy Blazer has been extensively used in the popular TV series Stranger Things. In our inventory, we have a 1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer with a 502CI V8 crate engine at just 20,000 miles. It features a number of upgrades to appeal to those looking for a standout classic SUV.

Originally pained in orange, this 1972 Blazer sports a Satin Black wrap & Forged Carbon Printed accent wraps. This masterpiece of a vehicle is exquisitely maintained and is a tasteful blend of an old-school ride with modern amenities. The Blazer comes with a Softopper Full Soft Top, with HID headlights, LED taillights, and side markers. It rides on a set of 20” Hostile RAGE wheels wrapped in 37x13.5/20 Nitto Trail Grappler tires. The interior is finished off in a custom orange and black combination, complementing the color scheme of the vehicle. JL Audio sound components have been installed for premium listening experience while driving, and an aftermarket steering wheel is also in place.

Initially offered with four different engine types, this particular Blazer has been upgraded to the 5th generation 502CI V8 Big Block crate engine from Chevrolet, coupled to an automatic transmission. Some other enhancements include a FAST fuel injection system, a new flex plate, new transmission lines, and a new alternator. Enhancing off-road capabilities is a BMS Long Travel lift with Fox shocks and Fox stabilizers, Deaver springs, with stopping power courtesy of Wilwood front disc brakes. Rest assured that this Blazer is able to traverse any terrain with ease without breaking a sweat.
