Overview of 1947 Ford Deluxe 2-Door Sedan For Sale by Owner

The 1947 Ford Deluxe Coupe Hot Rod is a classic creation from the Blue Oval. From factory, it provided stylish transportation to those who liked the sporty looks of a two-door and only needed to use the rear seats occasionally. If you’re looking for something a bit out of the ordinary, then this 1947 Ford Deluxe Coupe Hot Rod we have here could very well be it. It features a host of new parts and features, and with a V8 engine, this full restoration injects new life into an older body style. If you’re looking for a new cruiser, performance restomod, or showstopper, you’ll find this Coupe ticks all of the above.

Exterior and Interior

This 1947 Ford Deluxe Coupe Hot Rod features a striking burgundy and silver paint job, with the top half of the car in red and the lower in silver. There’s a vented hood and graphics down the side for added flair, and you’ll notice top-mounted door mirrors. Inside, you’ll find a bank of gauges that display important engine vitals, including oil pressure, engine temperature, battery voltage, and fuel level. There’s also a larger centrally-mounted speedometer with a reading up to 120 mph. The owner reports that the dashboard and seats are new. There’s also a single-din audio player and a twin-spoke steering wheel.

Engine

Under the hood, you’ll find a V8 motor. Neither the engine capacity nor type is reported, but it appears to be from a later-model Ford. The engine powers this 1947 Ford Deluxe Coupe Hot Rod via an automatic transmission.
