Ford has been building practical and amazing trucks since time immemorial. But what Ford Mustang is in the pony car segment, and the F-Series is in the truck segment's hall of fame. The Ford F-Series, the successor of the Ford Pickup, began production in 1948. It wasn't until 1999 that Ford introduced the Ford Super Duty or F-Series Super Duty trucks dedicated to the heavy lifting segment, with a target market for ranchers, heavy load transporters, etc. The F-Series is in its fifth generation, with the F-250, F-350, F-450, F-550, and F-600 coming under the Super Duty banner. Up for grabs is the 2022 Ford F-450 Platinum with a few aftermarket bells and whistles and just 6,000 miles on the odometer.
Exterior and Interior
The 2022 Ford F-450 was offered in a slew of variants; this particular specimen comes in the Platinum DRW 4WD Crew Cab variant. The F-450 is catered for the rugged crowd, so its color selections lean towards earthy and base ones. This F-450 sports the brilliant Star White exterior paint. The Platinum trim adds body-colored front and rear bumpers, power deployable running boards, and door handles in body color with chrome pull handles, LED fog lamps, and LED roof clearance lights. The front is host to quad beam LED headlights with auto high-beam headlamps and two chrome tow hooks. The rear sports a tailgate with a power lock, remote release, and a step. Engine
The 2022 Ford F-450 Platinum was designed to tackle heavy loads and strenuous jobs while still looking good. As such this F-450 has a 6.7L Power Stroke V8 turbo diesel engine coupled with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Power output is at 475hp along with a massive 1,050 lb.ft of torque.

Showing approximately 110 miles, it is finished in a custom Silver & Red exterior with flame graphics and rides dramatically higher thanks to a 2-inch body lift and 6-inch suspension lift. Its equipment includes 35-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires, aftermarket alloy wheels, a custom-built roll cage, Corbeau bucket seats with racing harnesses, a twin-stick Dana 20 transfer case, and a 23-gallon fuel tank.
